75 years since the Nuremberg trials (Dec. 9, 1946-2021)
On December 9th, 2021 an event was hosted on the BC legislative lawn by commonground.ca alongside a few other organizations to remember the events that took place back in 1946 and reflect on what is going on today and what the Nuremberg Code set out to protect with its 10 point statement on delimiting permissible medical experimentation on human subjects.
Shortly after I arrived Dr. Charles Hoffe began to speak, below is a recording of their message:

Kari Simpson was introduced next, I believe she is the executive director of culture gaurd, she spoke on just recently being on a zoom call with over 30 doctors and in contact with over 4 thousand healthcare workers, one of the main topics she spoke on was hoping those that attended and heard her message would look into join the Canadian Voters Association.
From what I can tell, Kari Simpson is 1 of 3 directors of Canadian Voters Association too. Brian Peckford was introduced next and I took a moment to record their message as well:

After Brian Peckford spoke another fellow who took part in the fall of the Berlin wall on Nov 9th, 1989 talked about how they gathered a thousand pieces on that fateful day, and present one to Brian Pecford at the event.
Later at the event, they took four readers to read parts of the Nuremberg Code in the four different languages the trials were hosted in, none of their names were introduced though a fellow read some of it in English first, then another fellow read it in French, then a woman read part in German, followed at last by another woman who read the last part in Russian.
After the reciting of the Nuremberg Code it was asked that everyone who had one, lite a candle, and shortly after the national anthem O Canada was sung. A few songs were played throughout the event, none live, I do recall the last being one by John Lennon "we all shin on".
Also of note at the event a Christmas tree was put up by another group asking people to write on a mask what they wished for Christmas, they looked to do such at many such events, mostly those hosted in Vancouver.
